Bender Honored at AZBio Awards, UBRP Featured in The Pharmacologist
On October 11, the Arizona Bioindustry Association honored Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) Director Carol Bender as the Michael A. Cusanovich Arizona Bioscience Educator of the Year. Bender was selected for her inspiring work leading UBRP and her success in encouraging students to pursue life sciences careers. Watch the video honoring Bender. Read more.
Bender and UBRP also were featured in the Fall issue of ASPET's The Pharmacologist for the 25th anniversary of the ASPET Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program which has supported UBRP since 1992. Read the article (on page 25).
