Three cheers for the MCB-based softball team, the "Flying Worms", for winning the championship of the UA Faculty/Staff Summer League! The team, captained by Fares lab member Hope Dang, captured the title by beating the second-place Rec Bandits twice in a row in the championship round of the playoffs. The Worms finished the season on a roll, winning 12 of their last 13 games, finishing with an overall record of 14-5. Well played, team!
