Research Lab: I am in the Streicher Lab, where we study opioid pain signaling, non-opioid pain relievers, and new targets for pain treatments to enhance pain therapies while reducing tolerance and addiction risk. 

Clubs and other activities: I am currently involved as the vice president of AALS, a pre-health club built for African American and minority students on campus. Additionally, I am a CHEM241A Preceptor and spend time outside of school volunteering. Some hobbies that I like to do include line dancing, reading, and going on hikes. 

My favorite aspect of being an MCB Ambassador is being able to discuss how much variety this major offers and the vast amount of opportunities that it allows for, including gaining knowledge and participating in events, clubs, and more. 

Some of the classes that I’ve taken, which I love to chat about, include MCB 195, Psych 150, Span 160D1, and Chem 241A!
