Hometown: Placerville, CA

Minor: Chemistry

Research lab: Dr. Andrew Capaldi's lab in the MCB department, where we study signaling networks that regulate cell growth and metabolism, with a focus on the TORC1 pathway in budding yeast

Favorite classes: Honors Organic Chemistry!!! My other favorite classes that I have taken are MCB 301 (now MCB 306), BIOC 462A, and gen chem.

Clubs and other activities: I am the co-president of The Undergraduate Journal Club, an ambassador for the College of Science, the lead preceptor for Dr. Lisa Dollinger's Organic Chemistry courses (read the CBC Preceptor Spotlight), and an MCB mentor.
