A: If you are a MCB major, you can see Kara or Justin for advising. Additional information can be found on the home page in UAccess Student Center in the “Advising” dropdown menu. This area will list all of your advisors at UArizona. Students will have a major advisor and may also have additional advisors assigned based on identity within certain groups (ex: Honors, pre-health, pre-law). You can also find advisor locations and scheduling information for advisors across the UA in the Academic Advisor Directory.
A: You will need to meet with the advisor for the major or minor that you are interested in adding. You can find information for other advisors across the UA in the Academic Advisor Directory. Feel free to reach out to your MCB advisor for questions about common double majors/degrees with MCB students.
A: Priority Registration is designated time period in which students register for the next semester’s courses. Each student is assigned an enrollment appointment based on current class standing and other student groups, such as Veteran, Athletics, and Honors. Enrollment appointments are available on the UAccess Student home page in the "Your Registration Dates" box. A schedule for priority registration can be found on the Registrar’s website. MCB Advising will send out email notifications when the Schedule of Classes is available for the future term and with instructions on advising for registration. Students are encouraged to meet with MCB advising at least 1-2 weeks before your registration date.

A: Any courses (in or out of state) not previously evaluated and articulated by the UArizona Transfer office will need to be evaluated. You can use the Credit Evaluation webpage to have course evaluated. You can use the Transfer Credit and Articulation to check on the articulation of transfer coursework. This does not necessarily indicate how these courses meet degree requirements. Please follow up with your advisor for more specific information.
A: “Although there is not a “pre-med” major at UArizona, there are some majors that will allow you to complete pre-health pre-requisite courses needed for application to medical school (or other health related schools) as part of your degree requirements. MCB is one of those degrees! We complete almost all of the pre-requisite courses needed for pre-health schools.
