Research Topic:

I am interested in metabolic pathways altered throughout the aging process. In particular, I focus on immune function and regulation in the aging process. This applies to a wide array of age related diseases from Alzheimer's to cancer. Our lab utilizes C. elegans, along with mice, as a model for genetic and metabolic interventions capable of increasing lifespan and healthspan.

Hobbies and Interests:

I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, cooking, reading science articles, watching movies, and spending time with my family and dogs
