Jeanne Louderbough

Bio: Jeanne grew up in Albuquerque, NM and completed her B.S. At the University of New Mexico with a double major in Biology and Spanish. During her time there she studied post-translational gene silencing Neurospora crassa and transcriptional networks involved in skeletal muscle development. At the University of Arizona she joined the Schroeder lab where she focuses on understanding the interaction between cells and their environment during breast cancer metastasis. Outside of the lab she spends here time doing yoga and with her friends enjoying the Tucson weather.

Favorites things about Tucson: There are some outstanding faculty and students. The environment is relaxed and fun, but still accomplishes significant scientific success.
