University of Arizona
Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology

Welcome to the University of Arizona's Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology combines faculty with research interests spanning modern cell and molecular biology, many of whom utilize genetics as a tool for analyzing biological problems. The faculty, staff and students of the Department are engaged in many areas of teaching and research, but all of these endeavors are intimately interconnected.
