Course Description
This class is intended for students interested in careers in the
health professions. The lecturers will highlight recent advances in understanding the molecular bases for a sampling of
human diseases as well as advances made in the therapy for these diseases. This course is also designed to develop scientific
writing and communication skills. Requirements will include written essays and oral presentations on a specific
human disease chosen by each student.
